THE BAHÁ’Í FAITH MUST
HAVE A LIVING GUARDIAN

In her Maxwell notes, Ruhíyyíh Khánum, wife of the first Guardian, quotes him as saying: "It is the Guardian’s responsibility to prevent the International House of Justice from abrogating any of the laws of the Aqdas [the Most Holy Book of the Bahá’í Faith]." Thus, the Bahá’í Faith must have a living Guardian.
